SCP Meeting at ASTM December Committee Week in Atlanta

We will be scheduling the next meeting for 6 PM, immediately following the C09.65 task group meeting on C856. Specific details to follow regarding room location (just need to confirm room). If anyone has something they would like to present, we would be open to presentations. We should also tackle some logistics regarding the SCP by laws as well as implementing a rubric for accepting applicants. It would also be good to go through the list of petrographers to see who is still active and who is not. We have 139 members and I don't think all of these individuals are active. I would love to create an "In Memoriam" designation to honor those members who have served our industry and are no longer with us. If anyone has a record of prior officers...that would also be nice to create a history of those individuals who have served as officers. I'll do my best to recover what I can from what we have. But I may need some help creating that list. More to come in the next month. -Jamison
